Getting married is often an expensive thing to do. You spend a lot of money in preparation, in the dresses, on renting the venue and catering, among other things. It’s not hard to imagine that after channeling all of this money towards having your dream wedding there’s not a lot left to go on honeymoon. The concept that a honeymoon needs to be an expensive affair is a bit outdated. In fact, if you do spend your honeymoon the old fashioned way: in a resort eating expensive food, drinking only the best of wines and lounging by the pool, you’re going to get bored. If, instead, you look at the honeymoon as a time to do things together and have fun, then you don’t have to worry so much about money. It becomes a matter of simply deciding what things you’d both like to do during the honeymoon, and finding a package that allows you to do them. The time for relaxed and expensive holidays can come later, in your honeymoon you should try to bond and have fun.
